Christian Butler

Christian graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State
University with a major in visual arts and a concentration in Graphic Design. He is following in the footsteps of his father, who also graduated from North Carolina A&T. Christian is seeking a position in the arts/entertainment industry.

Kaitlyn Graham

Kaitlyn has graduated from High Point University with a major in Broadcast Journalism. In the fall, she will be enrolled in High Point University’s Communication and Business Leadership graduate school program.


Whitney Olivia Jenkins

Whitney Jenkins earned an Applied Science - Advertising & Graphic Design Degree from Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC). She plans to transfer to North Carolina Agricultural & Technical (A&T) State University.

Jordyn McKinney

Jordyn graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a major in Political Science and a concentration in Pre-law. She is now working as a Deputy Clerk of Superior Court at the Guilford County Courthouse, and she plans to continue her education in law school.

Mark Oglesby

Mark graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a major in Entrepreneurship. In the fall, he plans to work full time for Dudley Beauty Corporation. This very successful business was founded by his grandparents, and his mother continues to provide leadership through her role as the corporation's president.

Andre Thacker

Andre was graduated from the Western Carolina University with a major in Music Performance and he earned a masters degree in music performance from Michigan State University. He has been appointed band director of a middle school in Hamlet, North Carolina where he will spend time setting up the bank room and preparing lessons for his students. He will work with a group of students who have various levels of musical expertise. Some students have never played in a band before and some others have been playing their instruments since 3rd or 4th grade.

Brianna Williams

Brianna has graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a major in bioengineering and a minor in applied mathematics. This fall, she will begin teaching mathematics in the Guilford County School System.

Johnny Powell

Johnny graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University with a major in chemistry and a minor in psychology. He is working at Bain & Company in Chicago.

Roman Blount

Roman earned a B.S. in Biological Engineering and an M.S. in Bioengineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. While he was in his M.S. program, he received the outstanding thesis award. Roman then earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His specialty is in Family Medicine. His commitment to his relationship with Jesus led him to the Duke Divinity School, where he earned the Theology, Medicine and Culture Certificate. He is now in the first year of a three year residency at Novant Health in Cornelius, North Carolina.

While Roman was in high school, he attended the Providence SAT Preparation Program. While he was in college, he came back and taught some of the SAT math classes.
